Archives and Collections

The Sheringham Point Lighthouse Preservation Society is collecting archival materials (such as documents, photographs, video materials) that help tell the story of the Lighthouse and its relationship to the community.  To the extent possible, we are digitizing this material to make it available to the public through this website.  When we have collected a critical mass of material we will publish it here.  Please check back to this page for updates.

We are also collecting artifacts and objects of relevance to the Lighthouse.  To the extent we are able, and as appropriate for the space available, we will be displaying these materials at the Lighthouse or in another venue.  We will also be photographing them and making them accessible to the public as well, through this website.  Please check back.

If you have, or know of, any documents, old photographs, artifacts or other materials that you feel would be of value for our collections, we would be very appreciative if you would contact us and let us know.  Please contact us here.   It’s only through the help of our community and our supporters that we can find and conserve these fragile connections to our history and our stories.  Thank you for your help.
