The best way to get involved is to become a MEMBER of the Sheringham Point Lighthouse Preservation Society. Our members are the foundation of our organization, and provide the support, the means and the passion to ensure that we can be successful in achieving our goals and ensuring the long-term protection and stewardship of the Lighthouse and its surrounding environment.

What does Membership entail?
As a democratic organization, our members elect a Board of Directors to govern the organization on a day-to-day basis. Your membership provides you the right to vote, to run for election, and to have a say in how our organization will function and how it will set its long-term priorities.
As a member you will receive regular updates and a newsletter outlining our activities and seeking your guidance and support on our ongoing efforts to meet our goals and priorities. You will also have access to a “Members Only” section of this website, to be able to view additional information of a more confidential nature, and will be able to purchase products in our on-line store at a reduced “members price”.
Membership options
Individual Membership: our standard membership option, this grants one individual the rights and privileges outlined above. Annual cost is $20.00
Youth Membership: this option provides a special membership for young people (age 12 – 17). Parental consent is required. It grants access to the website, and the ability to comment and participate in the affairs of the Society (but does not grant voting rights). Annual cost is $10.00
Lifetime Membership: as the name suggests, this confers membership rights and privileges on a permanent basis, for the duration of a person’s lifetime. Cost (one time) is $250.00
